- For those who wish to apply for new membership, they may click the "District Core Committee" button provided in the KAF website, contact any two existing KAF members of their district, convince them of your credentials and then begin the registration procedure. Please also bear in mind that your membership will be made final only after proper scrutiny by the Core Committee members.
- Those existing members who only want to renew their memberships need not contact the Core Committee members. The registration page can be accessed by clicking either the existing member renewal or new membership option.
- It is advised to keep a passport size photo and any other photo identity card ready before attempting to register. Only image files in JPG/JPEG formats less than 200 KB can be used for upload. To reduce file size, the re-sizing tool provided near the upload option in the registration page can be used.
- The applicant must provide his correct phone number and email id so that all relevant messages and future online services from KAF are received promptly. It may be noted that using either the phone number or email id of any third person during registration is likely to create technical problems in future.
- In the column meant for nick name, the name in which you are commonly known in your field of art shall be mentioned.
- Those existing members may provide their exact KAF ID number correctly in the corresponding column while opting renewal and then click the submit button. For this, it is advised to once again check the details given in your KAF ID card. The exact membership number may be shown along with the correct district code (Eg. MLP/00001). For existing ones facing similar issue, the payment window can be obtained only after re-submitting the membership number and other relevant details.
- Once all the details are correctly fed, the applicant will then receive an OTP in his/ her registered mobile number. The payment window can be accessed only upon providing the OTP in the corresponding column.
- Legitimate service charges are applicable for transactions in Debit/Credit cards, Internet banking etc., except for direct cash transactions. No service charges are payable for UPI transactions.
- When the membership of an applicant is recognized by the district Core Committee members, an SMS containing the membership number will be made available to the applicant. Similarly, an SMS will also be sent if the application is rejected, showing reasons for such rejection.
- It may be noted that the fees, if any, paid for registration,will not be returned under any circumstances. Difficulties faced at any stage of the registration process can be brought to the notice of the District committee help desk members by clicking on the help desk button provided at the top portion of all pages and also at the registration page. Photos or Screen shots showing the issue may also be sent on WhatsApp for speedy action.
- Applications can be sent by those artists falling between the ages of 21 and 75 and also having art experience of 5 years and more, in any art or such relevant field.
- Those with any Criminal background or have been subjected to any disciplinary action by KAF are not eligible to apply for membership.
- Necessary information may then be given in the subsequent windows. Those applying for new membership may select the registration option and give necessary details. Each step may be carried forward using the Save & Continue buttons. The registration fee can be paid at the last stage, viewing the details at the preview button, to ensure authenticity.
- If any mistake/error is spotted at the previous page, the back button may be used to go back to the previous pages and make necessary corrections. If any mandatory field is left out then the next page cannot be entered.
- If the registration window is required to be closed due to any technical snag resulting in payment failure, the already saved items will appear on the screen and payment window can be entered into, on feeding the name, email id etc, at the next registration attempt. This facility will be available only for those applying for new memberships.
